Sourced from the high-altitude Sourgal vineyard and crafted with a gentle, minimal-intervention approach, it delivers pure Moscato character with the finesse that has made this producer a benchmark in the region.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass with a fine, delicate mousse, this Moscato d’Asti is immediately inviting. The nose is intensely floral, showing a bouquet of blossom, fresh herbs, and lifted tropical fruit, almost like walking into a flower shop filled with ripe citrus, peach, and apricot. On the palate, it is lightly sparkling, fresh, and naturally sweet, balanced by a vibrant acidity that keeps everything crisp and lively. The finish is clean and aromatic, making it a charming wine to enjoy young for maximum freshness, although it will hold nicely in the short term if stored well.

Production
Sourgal sits atop a hill in Piemonte at around 350 meters above sea level, where cool winds help preserve the grapes’ aromatic intensity and natural freshness throughout the growing season. The Moscato grapes are harvested early, typically from late August to early September, and the wine is fermented in neutral tanks before being kept cool until bottling. True to Elio Perrone’s philosophy of ‘less is more,’ the cellar work is kept minimal to let the grape’s floral purity and natural sweetness shine through.

Food & Serving
This is a perfect match for fruit-based desserts, sorbets, light pastries, and anything served with ice cream. It is best enjoyed well chilled, around 6–8°C, and does not need decanting—simply open and serve to preserve its delicate bubbles and fresh aromatic lift.
