A refined expression of Pinot Blanc, it reflects the region’s distinctive alpine climate and mineral-rich soils, shaped by Elena Walch’s meticulous winemaking.

Tasting Notes
Clear and pale straw-yellow in appearance, this Pinot Bianco opens with fresh apple, white flowers and delicate herbal nuances. On the palate, lively acidity gives the wine energy, while a subtle mineral character adds depth and elegance. The finish is crisp, clean and refreshing, making the wine particularly appealing in its youth, although it can develop added complexity over the short term.

Production
The grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards ranging from approximately 250 to 900 metres above sea level. The combination of limestone-rich soils and volcanic porphyry contributes freshness, minerality and structural balance. After gentle crushing and pressing, the must is clarified at low temperature before fermentation in stainless steel tanks at around 20°C. The wine then rests for several months on its fine lees, or sur lie, adding texture and complexity.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled at approximately 8–10°C as an aperitif or alongside light starters, seafood, creamy pasta dishes, poultry and other delicately flavoured white meats. Its bright acidity also makes it a natural match for fresh salads and mild cheeses. Decanting is not necessary; simply open shortly before serving or pour directly into suitably sized white-wine glasses.
