Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the elegance expected from Chambolle-Musigny, with a refined, luminous ruby colour. The nose opens with blackberry and blueberry, lifted by subtle flinty, mineral tones and an earthy, savoury complexity that gives the wine real presence. The palate is medium-bodied, with fine-grained tannins and a balanced, well-judged acidity that brings energy and length. There is a firm underlying structure beneath the perfume and silkiness, and the saline finish suggests excellent aging potential; this is a wine that will reward patience and develop beautifully over several years in bottle.

Production
The wine comes from 80-year-old vines in Les Amoureuses, one of Chambolle-Musigny’s most prestigious premier cru vineyards in Burgundy. The vintage was vinified with 50% whole bunch fruit and matured in 50% new oak, a combination that adds aromatic lift, structure, and complexity while preserving the delicate character of the site.

Best enjoyed with refined dishes such as roast duck, pigeon, veal, or mushroom-based cuisine, as well as truffled poultry and soft aged cheeses. Serve at around 16-18°C, and consider decanting for 1-2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromas and structure to open fully.
