Description

Domaine Rieffel’s Mr. Pink Bio 2023 is a distinctive Alsatian rosé Crémant made from 100% biodynamically farmed Pinot Noir. Produced by traditional bottle fermentation and finished without dosage, it offers an expressive, carefully crafted take on natural sparkling wine.

Production
The Pinot Noir is grown biodynamically and made into rosé using the saignée method. The base wine ferments spontaneously and rests on its lees for ten months without bâtonnage. After a second fermentation in the bottle, the Crémant spends a further 17 months on its lees before being disgorged without dosage. Its 5 g/L of residual sugar remains naturally from fermentation. No sulphur is added before disgorgement, when only 1 mg/L is used; total sulphur is just 10 mg/L.
