Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the depth and brightness you want from top-tier Nuits-St-Georges: vivid red fruit, floral perfume, and a dark, earthy undertone. The bouquet layers red and violet forest berries, rose petals, cherry, and candied bergamot with nuances of new leather, green tobacco, and autumn leaves. On the palate, it is medium-bodied but tightly structured, with a flowing texture, melting tannins, and an almost savory, slightly rustic finish. It already offers impressive openness in youth, yet the depth, concentration, and frame suggest it will continue to evolve beautifully over the next several years.

Production
Les Bousselots lies in the northern part of Nuits-St-Georges, toward Vosne-Romanée, on relatively heavy clay soils that contribute both richness and finesse. Domaine Remoriquet works with very low yields and hand-harvested fruit from sustainably farmed vines, followed by a short cold soak and spontaneous fermentation in concrete vats. The wine is then aged for 15 to 20 months in oak barrels, including around 28% new oak.

This Premier Cru pairs beautifully with dishes that complement its savory depth and refined structure, such as duck breast, roast quail, game birds, mushroom risotto, or slow-cooked veal. Serve at 15–17°C, and decant for about 30–60 minutes if enjoying it young to help раскрыть its aromatics and soften the tannins.
