Made from 100% Pinot Noir from the esteemed Premier Cru site of Les Epenots, it combines ripe fruit, firm structure and refined oak influence in a style built for both immediate appreciation and cellar ageing.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby hue with the kind of clarity and intensity typical of a serious Côte de Beaune Pinot Noir. The nose opens with dark cherries, raspberries and a subtle layer of spice, lifted by a distinct mineral edge that hints at the vineyard’s limestone and clay soils. On the palate, the wine is dense and focused, with concentrated fruit, bright but balanced acidity and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and persistent, leaving a savoury, mineral impression. Thanks to its structure and concentration, it should age gracefully for 8–15 years, gaining further nuance and complexity over time.

Production
The grapes come from Les Epenots, one of Pommard’s best-known Premier Cru vineyards, where limestone and clay soils help shape the wine’s structure, depth and ageing potential. The 2022 vintage benefited from warm weather and excellent ripening conditions, resulting in fruit with natural concentration and balance. The wine is unfiltered and matured in oak barrels, including a proportion of new wood, adding finesse and complexity without overshadowing the Pinot Noir character.

Food & Serving
This is a classic match for dishes with earthy depth and rich texture, such as roast duck, coq au vin, venison, mushroom risotto or beef tenderloin. Serve at around 16–18°C, and if opening young, consider decanting for 30–60 minutes to allow the aromas and structure to open fully.
