In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red color with a violet rim, hinting at both youth and concentration. The nose is generous and layered, opening with black cherry, blackberry, and raspberry, then unfolding into violet, rose petal, exotic spice, toasted oak, and a subtle smoky-mineral note that adds definition and complexity. The palate is powerful yet velvety, with ripe, finely polished tannins and fresh acidity that keep the wine lively and balanced. Flavors of dark berries, licorice, cocoa, oriental spice, and a touch of forest floor carry through to a long, intricate, and spicy finish. With its structure and depth, this wine has excellent aging potential and should evolve beautifully over 15-20 years.
