Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a deep, concentrated ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose is intense and layered, unfolding with black cherry, blackberry, and plum, followed by violet, rose petals, exotic spice, truffle, cedar, and a subtle smoky note from new oak. The palate is richly concentrated yet beautifully silk-textured, with monumental structure and ripe, finely polished tannins. Fresh, vibrant acidity lifts the dark fruit and carries flavours of dark chocolate, liquorice, forest floor, and mineral nuances into a long, persistent finish that balances power with elegance. This is a wine with exceptional ageing potential and should develop magnificently over 25–30 years or more.

Richebourg is one of the most prestigious Grand Cru vineyards in Vosne-Romanée, known for producing wines of exceptional depth, sensuality, and structure. The 2019 vintage in Burgundy brought ripe fruit expression while retaining classic freshness, and this bottling reflects that harmony with great clarity. Food & Serving
This is a superb match for game, beef, and truffle-based dishes, as well as richly flavoured mushroom preparations. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young, though the wine will benefit even more from extended cellar ageing.
