Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a graceful garnet colour with brick-red edges, reflecting its age in classic Pinot Noir fashion. The nose is layered and expressive, unfolding with dried cherries, wild strawberries and ripe plums, then moving into forest floor, truffle, leather, dried rose petals and a subtle hint of spice. The palate is silky and composed, with rounded tannins and well-integrated acidity that still brings freshness to the mature fruit. Flavours of red berries, mushrooms, undergrowth, tobacco and a refined mineral streak lead to a long, complex finish with a gentle spicy edge. Drinking beautifully now, it still has a few years of elegant life ahead.
