Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep ruby-red color with violet highlights, reflecting both its youth and concentration. The nose is generous and layered, offering dark cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry, followed by violet, exotic spice, a touch of toasted oak and subtle earthy nuances. The palate is full-bodied and firmly structured, with ripe tannins and a lively, energetic acidity that keeps the wine balanced and focused. Flavors of dark fruit, licorice, black pepper and mineral notes unfold gradually into a long, precise and spicy finish. This 2018 vintage has excellent cellaring potential and should evolve beautifully over the next 15–20 years, though it can also be enjoyed now with decanting.

Aux Boudots is a premier cru vineyard positioned on the border between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée, a location that helps explain the wine’s unique blend of power and finesse. The site’s terroir contributes both structure and aromatic refinement, while the 2018 vintage produced ripe, concentrated fruit with natural balance. Vinification is carried out to preserve precision, texture and the expressive character of Pinot Noir.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with game, beef tenderloin, and richly flavored mushroom or truffle dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for about an hour if drinking now to allow the aromas and structure to open fully.
