Tasting Notes
In the glass, this wine shows the refined transparency you expect from great Vosne-Romanée, with lifted notes of rose petals and a hint of peony over bright red berry fruit. The aromatics are precise and elegant, yet there is depth beneath the surface that becomes more apparent with air. On the palate it is medium-bodied, fresh, and finely textured, with lightly crisp tannins and a striking sense of purity. As it opens, darker fruit notes emerge along with a subtle chalky, limestone-like edge to the tannin. It should age gracefully, gaining more complexity and savoury nuance over the next several years.

Sourced from Les Chaumes, a Premier Cru site in Vosne-Romanée, the wine reflects the finesse and complexity of Burgundy’s limestone-rich terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted to ensure only the best fruit enters the cellar, preserving the precision and character of the vineyard. Vinification follows a balance of traditional Burgundian methods and modern cellar practice, with close attention paid to maintaining the wine’s authentic expression. Maturation in fine oak barrels adds depth, structure, and subtle complexity without overshadowing the purity of the fruit.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for dishes that complement Pinot Noir’s elegance, such as roast duck, quail, veal, mushroom risotto, or poultry with a light cream sauce. Serve at around 16–18°C; decanting for 30–60 minutes is recommended if the wine is being enjoyed young, to help reveal its floral and darker-fruited layers.
