Domaine J. Laurens Crémant de Limoux La Rose N° 7 Brut is a refined rosé sparkling wine from one of France’s most historic sparkling regions. Crafted with Pinot Noir and released under the Crémant de Limoux AOC, it reflects both the freshness of the Languedoc and the elegance that has made Limoux famous for sparkling wine since long before Champagne’s rise to prominence.

Tasting Notes
Pale to salmon-pink in the glass, it shows a lively mousse and an inviting, polished appearance. The nose is fresh and expressive, with delicate red berry notes, floral nuances, and a subtle biscuity lift. On the palate, it is crisp and vibrant, balancing fine fruit character with a clean, dry finish. The Pinot Noir brings finesse and a gentle red-fruited charm, while the sparkling structure keeps the wine light on its feet. Best enjoyed young for its brightness and aromatic precision, though it can hold nicely over the near term.

Production
Made in the Limoux appellation of Languedoc-Roussillon, this Crémant benefits from a cool, elevated terroir that helps preserve freshness and aromatic detail. Since 2003, producers in Limoux have been allowed to use Pinot Noir in AOC Crémant production, and Domaine J. Laurens used that opportunity to create its first rosé from the 2007 harvest. The wine is made using traditional sparkling-wine methods, with careful secondary fermentation to build fine bubbles and texture.

Food & Serving
Serve well chilled, ideally around 6–8°C, to highlight its freshness and fine mousse. It pairs beautifully with smoked salmon, seafood canapés, grilled prawns, sushi, summer salads, and lightly spiced poultry dishes. Decanting is not recommended; simply open shortly before serving to preserve its delicate sparkle.
