Tasting Notes
The wine shows a bright, polished appearance with a clear, luminous golden hue. On the nose, it opens with fresh pear, apple, and citrus, lifted by delicate floral notes and a subtle hint of honey and toasted oak. The palate is clean and precise, driven by lively acidity that brings energy and balance, while the ripe fruit adds roundness and gentle texture. The finish is long, elegant, and distinctly mineral, with a light saline edge that leaves a refined impression. It can be enjoyed young for its crisp, expressive fruit, but it also has the structure to age gracefully for 4–7 years.

Production
Produced from 100% Chardonnay grown in high-altitude vineyards on limestone-rich clay soils, the wine benefits from a terroir that naturally encourages freshness, concentration, and minerality. The grapes are carefully harvested and the wine is matured in oak, with a portion aged in new barrels and the rest in used oak, adding subtle complexity and texture without masking the wine’s bright, precise character.

Food & Serving
This Saint-Aubin 1er Cru is a superb match for fish and shellfish, poultry in creamy sauces, and dishes featuring fresh herbs or mild cheeses. Serve it chilled at around 10–12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary unless you want to give the wine a little extra air to open up in its youth.
