Description
Domaine Hauvette’s Cinsault Alpilles IGP is a Southern French red from the limestone landscapes of Provence. Made from Cinsault, a traditional Mediterranean variety valued for its freshness and elegance, it offers a lighter, more fragrant alternative to richer Rhône-style reds.
Tasting Notes
The wine is expected to show a bright ruby colour, with lifted aromas of red berries, wild herbs and floral notes. On the palate, Cinsault typically brings juicy raspberry and strawberry flavours, gentle spice and refreshing acidity, supported by fine, supple tannins.
Best enjoyed for its youthful freshness, this is a wine suited to drinking in the near term rather than extended cellaring. A short period of bottle ageing may add softness and complexity, depending on the vintage and cuvée.
Food & Serving
Serve slightly cool, around 14–16°C, to highlight the wine’s freshness and delicate fruit character. It should pair well with Provençal dishes, grilled poultry, charcuterie, ratatouille, roasted vegetables and lightly spiced Mediterranean cuisine. Decanting is generally unnecessary, although opening 20–30 minutes before serving can help the aromas unfold.

Domaine Hauvette is based in the Alpilles of Provence, an area known for its limestone soils, Mediterranean climate and aromatic local wines. Specific details regarding the 2025 cuvée’s vineyard work and vinification are not provided.
