Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright pale yellow hue that hints at freshness and energy. The palate is rich and generous, yet beautifully controlled, with a silky texture, balanced acidity and a subtle mineral thread that carries through to a long, persistent finish. While delicious now, it also has the structure to develop gracefully over the next few years, gaining additional complexity and nuance.

Production
The grapes for La Vieille Maison are hand-harvested and carefully sorted to ensure only the best fruit is used. After gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled tanks with native yeasts, helping preserve the purity and aromatics of Viognier. The wine is then matured for 12 months in a combination of oak barrels and stainless steel tanks, adding texture and subtle complexity while maintaining freshness.

This Condrieu is a natural match for seafood, poultry and creamy cheeses, where its aromatic richness and supple structure can really shine. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and consider brief decanting if you want to open up its aromatic profile further.
