Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a luminous, pale golden colour. The nose is expressive and layered, with ripe pear, white flowers, citrus oil and a subtle thread of butter, toasted nuts and chalky minerality. On the palate, the wine is generous yet poised, combining a silky, almost seamless texture with vibrant acidity and a focused mineral core. The finish is long, precise and gracefully complex, and while it is already highly enjoyable, it has the structure to age beautifully over the next several years, gaining even more nuance and depth.

Les Combettes is a Premier Cru vineyard located on a prized slope between Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault, where the soils and exposure lend the wine both tension and richness. This is an excellent match for refined dishes such as roasted lobster, turbot with beurre blanc, scallops, poultry in cream sauce or truffled risotto. Serve it at around 10–12°C to highlight its freshness and complexity. Decanting is not essential, but a brief aeration can help the wine open up if enjoyed young.
