Production

The wine is then matured in French oak barrels, with a notable share of new oak carefully balanced to support the wine without overshadowing its terroir.

This is a superb match for dishes that echo its depth and refinement, such as roast duck, pheasant, mushroom risotto, or beef tenderloin. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant gently for about 30 to 60 minutes if drinking young, though older bottles may be better opened with minimal aeration.
