Description
Domaine Dujac Morey-Saint-Denis 2013 is a refined Burgundy Pinot Noir that captures both the depth of the village and the house’s signature elegance. Sourced from several parcels around Morey-Saint-Denis, it combines old-vine concentration with a cool, classically styled vintage that adds precision, freshness, and mineral drive.
Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a graceful, transparent ruby color. The nose opens with ripe red berries, violet, forest floor, and a gentle hint of spicy oak, giving it an aromatic profile that feels both expressive and restrained.
The palate is finely tuned and elegant, with lively acidity, polished tannins, and a clear line of fruit framed by subtle structure. It is drinking beautifully now, yet still has enough energy and length to continue evolving over the next several years.
Production
The wine comes from multiple parcels around Morey-Saint-Denis, where limestone-rich soils and old Pinot Noir vines contribute to its depth and finesse. The grapes were hand-harvested and partly vinified as whole clusters to preserve freshness and aromatic complexity, then matured in French oak barrels, including a proportion of new oak for added structure and a discreet layer of spice.
Food & Serving
This Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with duck breast, roast chicken, mushroom dishes, veal, or game birds, as well as earthy vegetarian plates like wild mushroom risotto. Serve at around 15–16°C, and decant briefly if needed, though it can also be enjoyed straight from the bottle to appreciate its delicate aromatics.

Domaine Dujac is one of Burgundy’s most respected names, known for producing wines of purity, transparency, and finesse across some of the region’s top vineyards. Founded in Morey-Saint-Denis, the domaine has become especially admired for its expressive Pinot Noir and its thoughtful use of whole-cluster fermentation and oak aging.
