Description

Domaine Dublère Beaune 1er Cru Les Blanches Fleurs 2010 is an elegant expression of Premier Cru Burgundy, made from Pinot Noir grown in the respected Les Blanches Fleurs vineyard. More than a decade of bottle age has brought added complexity while preserving the freshness, precision and finesse associated with both Beaune and the well-structured 2010 vintage.

Tasting Notes
The wine presents a graceful ruby colour, likely showing subtle garnet tones with maturity. Its refined bouquet opens with fresh raspberry, ripe cherry and red forest berries, followed by floral nuances, delicate spice and fine earthy notes that have developed with age. On the palate, it is silky and precise, with lively acidity, polished tannins and an elegant mineral line. Red fruit flavours are complemented by gentle spice and nuanced savoury tones, leading to a long, balanced finish. Mature and harmonious, it is drinking beautifully now, while well-stored bottles may continue to develop further complexity in the short term.

Production
Les Blanches Fleurs is a Premier Cru vineyard in Beaune, a Côte de Beaune appellation known for refined, terroir-driven Pinot Noir. The region’s limestone-rich soils and temperate climate help produce wines that combine fragrant red fruit, mineral freshness and graceful structure. Specific harvesting and vinification details for this bottling are not available, but the wine’s character reflects the classic Burgundy focus on expressing site and vintage through Pinot Noir.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 15–17°C after allowing the bottle to come gently to temperature. Decanting is not essential, but a careful decant of 30–60 minutes can help open the wine and separate any sediment; for a particularly delicate bottle, simply pour gently and serve directly. Its refined structure makes an excellent match for roast chicken, duck, veal, mushroom dishes, coq au vin and mildly seasoned game.
