Tasting Notes
Deep, dark ruby in the glass, this 2020 Réserve opens with an inviting nose of blackberry, black plum, black tea, and cracked black pepper, lifted by fresh rosemary and thyme. With air, more savory nuances emerge, including leather and sandalwood, adding complexity and a distinctly Rhône-grown sense of place. The palate is powerful yet polished, with ripe dark fruit framed by spice, clove, white pepper, and that same herbal edge found on the nose. It has the concentration and structure to age beautifully, improving over the next 5 years and likely drinking at a very high level for 20–25 years.

Production
Made from a traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape field blend of 13 grape varieties, with around 80% Grenache, this wine is produced with whole-cluster pressing, native-yeast fermentation in cement tanks, and ageing for two years in used oak barrels. The vineyards benefit from the warm, sun-drenched terroir of southern Rhône, where the region’s famous galets, gravel, and mixed soils help ripen the grapes while preserving freshness and aromatic complexity.

Food & Serving
Ideal with roast lamb, game, duck, beef daube, and richly seasoned Mediterranean dishes, as well as herb-crusted meats and mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant for at least 1–2 hours if drinking young to allow the aromatics and structure to fully open.
