Built on a Grenache-dominant blend from 13 grape varieties, it combines deep fruit, savory spice, and remarkable aging potential in a style that has earned a devoted following over time.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a deep, dark ruby color hinting at its concentration. The nose unfolds with blackberry, dark plum, black tea, black pepper, and fresh herbs such as rosemary and thyme, gradually giving way to notes of leather and sandalwood with air. The palate is full-bodied and layered, delivering ripe dark fruit, clove, white pepper, and a distinctly garrigue-like herbal edge. Despite its power, the wine keeps impressive balance and finesse, and it is built to improve for at least 5 more years while remaining in excellent condition for two decades or more.

Production
Made from a traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape blend of 13 grape varieties, this cuvée is led by roughly 80% Grenache. The grapes are pressed whole, fermentation takes place in cement tanks with native yeasts, and the wine is then matured for two years in used oak casks. This careful, low-intervention approach helps preserve the vineyard’s character and the wine’s classic Rhône identity.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for roast lamb, beef short ribs, game, duck confit, or richly seasoned Mediterranean dishes. Serve at around 16-18°C, and consider decanting for at least 1-2 hours to allow the aromatics and structure to fully open.
