From one of the appellation’s most respected Premier Cru sites, it combines finesse, bright fruit and a distinctly mineral edge, making it both immediately charming and quietly serious.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a pale, luminous ruby color that speaks to its delicacy and elegance. The nose is layered with fresh red cherries, strawberries and raspberries, lifted by subtle floral notes, gentle spice, a touch of truffle and a fine mineral nuance. The palate is silky and precise, with pure red fruit at the core, a refined tannic frame and fresh acidity giving the wine length and energy. Its balance and structure suggest excellent aging potential over the next 5 to 10 years, during which it should develop more earthiness, complexity and aromatic depth.

Production
The grapes are harvested by hand from the Premier Cru climat of Caillerets in Volnay, a site prized for its chalky, mineral-tinged soils and ability to produce wines of fragrance, structure and elegance. Vinification is carried out gently to preserve the delicacy of the Pinot Noir fruit, followed by aging in French oak barrels, with a portion of new oak used to add texture and complexity without masking the wine’s natural finesse.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with roast or grilled chicken, duck, mushroom dishes such as risotto or pasta, braised beef, and мягкие to medium-aged cheeses like Brie or Comté. Serve at around 16-18°C, and consider a light decant if opening it young to help the aromas unfold.
