Domaine de Boischampt Beaujolais Villages Blanc 2024 is a finely drawn Chardonnay from the blue-stone slopes of Beaujolais, offering purity, freshness and a distinctly mineral edge. Crafted with a light touch and organic principles, it reflects both the calm of the vineyard and the character of one of Burgundy’s most expressive white-wine terroirs.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass, it opens with delicate aromas of white flowers, ripe pear and fresh citrus, lifted by a subtle stony note. The palate is crisp and elegant, with bright acidity, clean orchard fruit and a quiet creamy texture that rounds out the finish. The wine feels precise rather than weighty, with a lively, lingering aftertaste and a mineral line that keeps everything focused. It is enjoyable now for its freshness, but should also hold well over the next few years as its texture and complexity continue to develop.

Production
The grapes come from Pierre Bleue slopes in Beaujolais, where the mineral-rich blue stone soils help shape the wine’s taut, luminous profile. Harvested by hand and pressed gently, the must undergoes a 34-day fermentation followed by six months of ageing in stainless steel to preserve freshness, clarity and varietal expression.

Serve lightly chilled at 8-10°C. It pairs beautifully with shellfish, grilled fish, light poultry dishes and delicate creamy sauces, where its acidity and mineral character can complement rather than overpower the food.
