Domaine d’Ardhuy’s Les Perrières is a Chardonnay from the elevated vineyards of the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, offering a fresh, direct expression of Burgundy. Set above the Côte de Beaune’s celebrated slope, this regional appellation has no Premier Cru or Grand Cru vineyards, yet its cooler, higher sites are increasingly valued for producing lively, focused wines.

Tasting Notes
Pale and clear in appearance, it opens with delicate notes of green banana and fresh straw, followed by a subtle touch of white pepper. The palate is described as clean, restrained and linear, with freshness at its core.

Production
The Hautes Côtes vineyards lie on and just beyond the ridge above the Côte de Beaune, where higher elevations can help preserve freshness and definition. The available cuvée notes describe Les Perrières as made without oak, allowing the Chardonnay’s clear, understated character to come through.
