Description

Domaine Claudie Jobard’s 2023 Les Roichottes is a lively, elegant white Burgundy made from 100% Chardonnay. Its combination of bright fruit, fine mineral character and a gently creamy texture offers a refined expression of Savigny-lès-Beaune.

Tasting Notes
Pale in the glass, it opens with citrus and white flowers, followed by delicate hints of almond. The palate is fresh and energetic, with vivid acidity, a lightly creamy feel and a mineral finish; subtle oak supports the fruit without dominating it. Enjoy its freshness while young, or allow it to develop further in bottle.

Production
The Chardonnay is grown organically and harvested by hand. The grapes are pressed as whole bunches soon after picking, then fermented with naturally occurring yeasts. The wine is aged in barrel for 8–12 months on fine lees, adding texture and roundness. Specific vineyard soil and site details are not provided.

Food & Serving
