Domaine Chanzy brings together regional finesse and oak-aged depth, with this 2023 vintage offering the kind of balance that has long made Burgundy one of the world’s most admired white-wine regions.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a clear golden color with an elegant, almost silky viscosity. The nose is generous and inviting, with aromas of pineapple, white peach, and citrus lifted by floral notes and a subtle touch of vanilla and toasted almond from oak aging. On the palate, it is harmonious and rounded, combining a creamy texture with bright mineral tension and a long, elegant finish marked by citrus and a hint of hazelnut. It is drinking beautifully now, but it should continue to gain complexity through 2030.

Made from 100% Chardonnay sourced from carefully selected Premier Cru parcels in Montagny, this wine reflects the limestone-driven terroir of the Côte Chalonnaise. The vintage was matured for 16 months in total, including 12 months in oak barrels, a vinification approach that adds texture, depth, and subtle spice while preserving freshness and precision.

Food & Serving
An excellent match for fish and seafood, poultry in creamy sauces, or mild cheeses such as Comté. Serve chilled at 10–12 °C. Decanting is not necessary, though a short opening time in the glass can help the oak and aromatic layers unfold.
