Tasting Notes
In the glass, the wine shows a luminous golden color with subtle green reflections. The nose opens with white flowers, ripe citrus, stone fruit, and delicate mineral notes, supported by gentle toasted nuances from oak aging. On the palate, it is textured and precise, balancing concentrated fruit with vibrant acidity and a chalky mineral edge. The finish is long and refined, with enough structure to enjoy now and the potential to gain added complexity over the next few years.

Production
Clos Les Bussières is a southeast-facing monopole parcel in Mercurey with relatively deep soils rich in limestone and marl, conditions that are especially well suited to Chardonnay. The site’s terroir gives the wine both ripeness and tension, while the deeper soil contributes to its supple yet structured profile. The grapes are gently pressed, fermented at controlled temperatures, then aged for around 10 months in oak barrels before further maturation in stainless steel to preserve freshness and refine the texture.

Food & Serving
This wine pairs beautifully with grilled fish, shellfish, lobster, creamy French seafood dishes, and mature hard cheeses. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally around 10–12°C, and decanting is generally not necessary unless you want to open up its aromas a little more in its youth.
