Description

Domaine Antonin Guyon’s Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras 2023 is a refined expression of Pinot Noir from one of Burgundy’s most admired villages. Sourced from the upper part of Les Cras, this wine captures the elegant, delicate style Chambolle-Musigny is known for, with a touch of freshness and depth that reflects its hillside origin.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a clear ruby hue with youthful red reflections. The nose is lifted and precise, offering fresh red cherries, violet notes, and a subtle edge that adds character and finesse. On the palate, it is graceful and supple, with soft tannins and a creamy texture that gives the wine its classic Chambolle-Musigny charm. The finish is poised and refined, and while approachable in youth, it has the structure and balance to develop beautifully over the next several years.

Production
Les Cras is a hillside site in Chambolle-Musigny, positioned at over 300 meters above sea level. Domaine Antonin Guyon owns 1.13 hectares here, where the soils are clay-rich with a notable limestone component, helping to shape the wine’s tension and elegance. The grapes are harvested by hand, then fermented in large open wooden vats over more than 20 days before aging for 16 months in barrel, including 30% new oak.

Food & Serving
This wine is a natural match for roast poultry, duck breast, mushroom dishes, veal, and delicate game. It also pairs beautifully with soft cheeses and Burgundy-style cuisine. Serve it at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 30–60 minutes if drinking young to allow the aromatics to open.

Producer
Domaine Antonin Guyon is a respected Burgundian producer known for its broad portfolio of carefully farmed vineyards across the Côte d’Or. The domaine has built a strong reputation for producing wines that combine regional character with precision and balance, and its holdings in Chambolle-Musigny are among the most distinctive in the range.
