Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows a bright golden hue with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is generous and layered, offering ripe apple, citrus zest, red berry fruit, and subtle toasted nuances that add warmth and complexity. The palate is full and harmonious, with lively acidity and a creamy texture that carries flavors of citrus, white peach, red berries, brioche, and a touch of nuts. The finish is long and elegant, marked by a mineral edge and a discreet spicy note. While immediately appealing, it also has the structure to develop gracefully over time.

This cuvée is sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in Avize, Aÿ, and Ambonnay, each contributing a distinct character to the blend: Avize for elegance and chalk-driven freshness, and Aÿ and Ambonnay for richness, power, and depth. The grapes are farmed biodynamically, reflecting De Sousa’s commitment to sustainable viticulture and purity of expression. Vinification is carried out with the aim of preserving the individuality of each terroir while achieving balance, finesse, and complexity in the final wine.

Food & Serving
This Champagne is a versatile companion at the table and works especially well with seafood, shellfish, poultry, and fine cheeses. It is also excellent as an aperitif. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and decanting is not necessary.
