Domaine Duband sources fruit for this Bourgogne from carefully selected parcels in and around the northern Côte de Nuits in Burgundy, where limestone-rich soils with clay and marl deliver precision and mineral tension to Pinot Noir. Farming is organic, with great attention paid to biodiversity and balanced yields, ensuring healthy, concentrated grapes. Harvest is done by hand, with strict sorting to retain only the best bunches. In the cellar, David Duband is known for his sensitive use of whole-cluster fermentation, bringing aromatic lift and fine-grained structure, while native yeasts are typically used to preserve a sense of place. The wine is then aged in a mix of older Burgundian oak barrels, limiting overt oak influence and keeping the focus on purity, finesse and terroir expression.
