Tasting Notes
In the glass, this wine shows a deep ruby color. The nose is intense yet refined, with layers of dark berries, blackcurrant, cherry, warming spice, cedar, and a hint of chocolate. The palate is full-bodied and beautifully structured, with ripe tannins, fresh acidity, and a long, harmonious finish. The 2019 vintage brought excellent conditions for slow, even ripening, giving the wine both immediate appeal and the depth to age gracefully over time.

Production
This cuvée comes from high-elevation parcels on and around Mount Veeder and Sage Vineyard, where cool winds and stony, marine-influenced soils help shape wines with firm structure, freshness, and aromatic clarity. The grapes were harvested from carefully selected sites and vinified with a gentle, precise approach that allows the character of the vineyard to shine through.

Food & Serving
This is an excellent match for grilled or roasted beef, lamb, and rich dishes with deep, savory flavors. Serve at around 16–18°C and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if enjoyed young, to allow the wine to open fully and show its layers of aroma and texture.
