The palate is intense yet polished, with ripe dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and a supple, savory core. Notes of black olive, licorice, and earthy minerality add complexity, while the wine’s balance and structure suggest excellent aging potential over the coming decade and beyond.

Production
La Belle Hélène comes from the dramatic terroirs of Côte-Rôtie, where steep, sun-exposed slopes and poor schist-rich soils encourage low yields and highly concentrated fruit.
