Built on a classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, it combines power with precision and has the pedigree to evolve beautifully over time.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a deep, dark ruby color with impressive concentration. The nose is layered and complex, with blackcurrant, blackberry, violet, graphite, cedar and subtle spice, often unfolding further with time in the glass. The palate is full-bodied and finely structured, with firm yet polished tannins, vibrant freshness and a long, persistent finish. Dark fruit, tobacco, cocoa and mineral notes create real depth, while the balance suggests excellent aging potential for many years, if not decades.

Production
The grapes come from the gravelly, clay-limestone soils of Saint-Estèphe, where the cooler Atlantic-influenced climate helps maintain freshness and structure. Harvest is carried out with great care to preserve fruit purity and ripeness, and the wine is vinified parcel by parcel to reflect the distinct character of the estate’s different vineyard sites.

Food & Serving
This is a wine that pairs beautifully with richly flavored dishes such as roast lamb, beef tenderloin, venison, duck breast or truffle-infused dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decanting for 1–2 hours is recommended when the wine is young to allow the aromas and tannins to open fully.
