Description

Château Trotanoy 2016 is a powerful, mineral-driven Pomerol, prized for its depth, structure and ability to age. From one of the appellation’s most respected estates, it offers a concentrated expression of Bordeaux’s Right Bank.

Tasting Notes
Deep and concentrated in character, with aromas and flavours of dark cherry, plum, chocolate, graphite and warm spice, alongside a distinctive clay-like mineral note. Firmly structured and long on the finish, it should reward further cellaring; decanting can help reveal its complexity when enjoyed young.

Food & Serving
Serve at around 16–18°C. It pairs well with roast lamb, beef, game and richly flavoured mushroom dishes. If opening now, decant for about 1–2 hours to allow the wine to open; mature bottles may benefit from careful decanting just before serving to separate any sediment.
