Tasting Notes
In the glass, it shows the hallmark dark-fruited character of fine Bordeaux, with aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, cedar, graphite, and a subtle hint of violet. There is a clear sense of ripeness in the fruit, balanced by freshness that keeps the wine lively and expressive. The palate is round and inviting, with soft yet structured tannins and a juicy acidity that gives the wine lift and energy. Layers of dried herbs, tobacco, and a touch of vanilla from oak add complexity, while the overall balance suggests excellent drinking now and the ability to age gracefully for another 10–15 years.

Production
Château Talbot comes from Saint-Julien in the Médoc, where gravelly Bordeaux terroir helps produce wines with power, finesse, and freshness. The warm 2015 vintage gave the grapes generous ripeness, resulting in a wine with mature fruit and a supple, accessible profile, while still retaining the structure expected of the appellation. Vinification is handled in a classic Bordeaux style to preserve balance, aromatics, and refinement.

Food & Serving
This is a natural partner for roasted lamb, entrecôte, beef tenderloin, duck, or mushroom-based dishes, as well as aged hard cheeses. Serve at 16–18°C, and consider decanting for 1–2 hours if drinking young to let the wine open fully and soften its structure.
