Château des Tours Vacqueyras 2013 is a mature Southern Rhône red from an estate closely associated with the renowned Château Rayas. Its appeal lies in the combination of Vacqueyras’ generous, sun-ripened character and the Reynaud family’s distinctive place in the Rhône wine world.

Tasting Notes
With good storage, the wine may show a garnet hue and aromas of dried red and dark fruit, Mediterranean herbs, spice and earthy notes. On the palate, expect a developed, savoury profile with softened fruit and integrated tannins; the exact character will depend on the bottle’s condition. The 2013 is now at a mature stage, so it is best approached as a wine to enjoy rather than cellar for many more years. Carefully stored bottles may still have further life, but individual bottles can vary.

Food & Serving
Try it with roast lamb, grilled meats, herb-seasoned vegetables or a slow-cooked stew. Serve around 16–18°C. If the wine has been stored undisturbed, stand it upright before opening and decant gently if sediment is present; taste first, as extended aeration may not benefit a mature bottle.
