Description

Château des Tours Vacqueyras 2011 offers a mature taste of the Southern Rhône from an estate closely associated with the renowned Château Rayas. Its appeal lies in that connection and in the character of a well-aged Vacqueyras from a respected vintage.

Tasting Notes
In the classic Vacqueyras style, expect a ruby-garnet colour and aromas that may bring together ripe red and dark fruits, dried herbs and warm spice, with savoury notes developing as the wine opens. The 2011 vintage is mature now; its condition and remaining ageing potential will depend on provenance and storage, so it is best approached as a bottle to enjoy rather than cellar for the long term.

Food & Serving
