Tasting Notes
The wine pours a deep, dark, almost inky colour, hinting at the richness to come. On the nose, it opens with blackcurrant, blueberry, dark chocolate, tobacco and a subtle smoky, herbal edge. The palate is layered and polished, with a silk-like texture balanced by fresh acidity and finely tuned tannins. Flavours of graphite, black liquorice and ripe dark berries unfold gradually, leading to a long, persistent finish. While already approachable with decanting, this is a wine with excellent aging potential and should evolve beautifully over decades.

Production
Sourced from Pauillac’s prime gravelly soils, the estate’s terroir provides the perfect foundation for Cabernet Sauvignon to ripen fully while maintaining structure and freshness. The 2015 blend is dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a touch of Petit Verdot, with careful harvesting and selection to preserve purity and precision. The wine was matured for around 18 months in French oak barrels, with a significant portion new, adding depth, spice and framing without overshadowing the fruit.

Food & Serving
This is an ideal match for classic Bordeaux pairings such as ribeye, lamb saddle, beef Wellington or venison, as well as truffled dishes and mature hard cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C and consider decanting for at least 1–2 hours if drinking now, especially to allow the aromas and structure to fully open.
