The nose unfolds with elegant layers of blackberries, boysenberry, eucalyptus and a subtle touch of incense, followed by notes of dark chocolate and toasted oak with air. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, with ripe black plum and blackberry framed by tobacco, pencil shavings and a discreet mineral edge on the finish. Tannins are youthful and sweet-framed, giving the wine a velvety texture and a long, structured close. While it already offers plenty of charm, its precision and balance suggest excellent aging potential over the next 10-15 years.
