Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass, it opens with inviting aromas of sweet dark cherry, plum, tobacco, mint, liquorice, and leather. On the palate, it is supple, round, and expressive, with a polished texture and a beautifully balanced, supple structure that makes it immediately appealing. The wine shows impressive depth for a second label, delivering both freshness and complexity. While already highly enjoyable, it should continue to develop gracefully over the next several years, gaining additional nuance and integration.

Production
Petit Figeac comes from Château Figeac’s prized Saint-Émilion terroir, where gravelly soils and a cool, well-exposed site contribute to the estate’s signature elegance and aromatic lift. The grapes are harvested with care, and vinification is carried out to preserve purity, texture, and the nuanced character of the fruit, with aging in oak helping to build complexity without overwhelming the wine’s finesse.
