Description

The Château de la Selve Viognier Madame de Bio 2020 shows that expressive Rhône Viognier is not confined to celebrated appellations such as Condrieu or Château-Grillet. From the Ardèche, it combines low-yield, hand-harvested fruit with careful lees ageing for a distinctive, artisanal take on the variety.

Tasting Notes
The nose opens with yellow blossoms, orange zest and ripe fruit, including honeydew melon. Subtle hints of herbs reminiscent of pine needles and a delicate mineral note add freshness and complexity. Further details on the wine’s appearance, palate and ageing potential are not available.

Production
Made in the Ardèche, the grapes are hand-harvested at low yields and direct-pressed.
