Tasting Notes
In the glass, it pours a deep, almost impenetrable ruby colour, hinting at its concentration and cellaring potential. The nose is intense and layered, with aromas of blackcurrant, ripe dark plum, cedar, graphite, and exotic spice, unfolding slowly with each swirl. On the palate, the wine is rich and densely textured, with impressive fruit concentration wrapped in silky yet firmly etched tannins. It finishes long and resonant, with the balance and structure to evolve beautifully over several decades. While already enjoyable, it will reward patience with even greater complexity and nuance.

Production
Sourced from the gravelly, clay-and-limestone terroir of Saint-Estèphe in Bordeaux, the wine draws its character from a site known for producing deeply structured, age-worthy wines. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is harvested with great care and vinified to preserve both aromatic precision and the powerful backbone that defines the château’s style.

This is a wine that pairs beautifully with roast lamb, beef tenderloin, duck breast, venison, or rich mushroom dishes. Serve at around 16–18°C, and decant several hours before drinking if enjoying it now to allow the aromas and structure to open fully.
