Champagne Valentin Leflaive Champagne Grand Cru Brut Rosé MA-17-60 is a refined Grand Cru rosé that brings together the elegance of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger and the power of Ambonnay in one beautifully balanced cuvée. Made from Pinot Noir with a touch of still red wine for colour, it captures both the sophistication and celebration that make rosé Champagne so appealing.

Tasting Notes
Pale salmon in the glass, this Champagne opens with delicate aromas of red berries, citrus and a subtle brioche-like note. On the palate it is fresh and precise, with lively fruit, a fine mousse and a gentle savoury depth from its lees ageing. The style is graceful rather than weighty, with enough structure to drink beautifully now and a discreet aging potential over the next few years.

Production
This Grand Cru rosé is a blend of 49% Chardonnay from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, where chalk and flint soils bring tension and finesse, and 51% Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, known for its clay and limestone-rich terroir that lends depth and fruit expression. Around 11% still red wine from Ambonnay is added to achieve the delicate rosé colour, before fermentation in stainless steel and extended ageing for at least 36 months on the lees.

Food & Serving
This Champagne works wonderfully as an aperitif and also pairs well with sushi, salmon, shellfish, tuna tartare, or poultry with red berry accents. Serve well chilled at 8-10°C, and decanting is not recommended.
