Inspired by the spirit of Baudelaire, this limited edition of just 500 sets celebrates the idea that Champagne should be seen, smelled, and tasted with complete attention.

Tasting Notes
This is an Extra Brut Champagne designed to awaken the senses rather than tell the whole story for you. Expect a refined, elegant expression with the precision and depth that come from time on the lees, a low dosage style, and the contrast between the 2006 and 2007 vintages. The wines are intended to reveal their character gradually in the glass, offering complexity, texture, and a long, focused finish. With their extended aging, these Champagnes are built for immediate pleasure but have the structure to continue evolving beautifully over time.

Production
Synesthésie is crafted from 80% Chardonnay sourced from Grand Cru parcels in Mesnil-sur-Oger and 20% Pinot Noir from the Reuil vineyard in the Marne Valley. The wine is made without malolactic fermentation and matured in large oak barrels, a choice that preserves freshness while adding subtle breadth and complexity. After bottling, it spent a full 10 years aging before release, underscoring the producer’s patient, detail-driven approach.

Food & Serving
Best enjoyed with fine seafood, oysters, sashimi, delicate poultry, or refined canapés that won’t overpower its finesse. Serve well chilled, ideally around 8–10°C, and allow a few moments in the glass for the aromas to open. Decanting is not recommended for Champagne, but using the included glasses as intended will help showcase the wine’s evolving expression.
