Crafted with precision by Collard-Picard, this is a compelling expression of the grape’s elegance, showing both depth and finesse in a style rarely seen from the region.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, it typically shows a bright, vibrant red-fruited profile with a polished, refined character. The nose opens with aromas of red berries and subtle floral notes, lifted by a gentle mineral edge that gives the wine freshness and definition. On the palate, this is a graceful and focused wine, with Pinot Meunier’s naturally juicy fruit balanced by a fine, understated structure. Light oak aging adds texture and complexity without overpowering the wine’s delicacy, and while it is enjoyable in its youth, it should also develop interesting tertiary nuance over a few years in bottle.

Les Louves comes from a small parcel within one of Collard-Picard’s best organically farmed vineyards, chosen for the quality of its Pinot Meunier. The wine is made in very limited quantities, using only the finest grapes from the plot, with careful vinification aimed at preserving purity, finesse, and varietal character. Gentle maturation in oak barrels adds complexity while respecting the wine’s elegant profile.

Food & Serving
Serve slightly below room temperature, around 14–16°C, to best highlight its freshness and aromatic precision. It pairs beautifully with dishes that complement its red-fruited character and subtle structure, such as roast poultry, duck, mushroom-based dishes, charcuterie, or lightly gamey meats. Decanting for a short period can help open the aromas, especially in its youth.
