Cesarini Sforza Trento Brut is a refined sparkling wine from the heart of Trentino, crafted entirely from Chardonnay grown in the alpine vineyards covered by the Trento DOC appellation. The wine’s minimum 24 months of cellar aging brings added depth, finesse, and complexity.

Tasting Notes
Pale straw in the glass with a lively, persistent mousse, this Brut shows the purity and brightness typical of mountain-grown Chardonnay. The nose is fresh and elegant, with notes of citrus, green apple, white flowers, and subtle brioche from extended bottle ageing. On the palate, it is dry, balanced, and harmonious, combining crisp acidity with a creamy texture and a clean, refined finish. The extended ageing gives it a more layered character and excellent poise, making it enjoyable now and well suited to hold its freshness for a few more years.

Production
The Chardonnay grapes come from vineyards in Trentino, where cool alpine conditions and significant day-to-night temperature shifts help preserve acidity and aromatic definition. The wine is made according to the classic method under the Trento DOC specification, with the second fermentation taking place in bottle. It then rests for at least 24 months in dark, quiet cellars, allowing the wine to develop its delicate aromas and polished structure.

Food & Serving
Ideal with seafood, oysters, sushi, light risottos, and delicate white meats, as well as aperitifs and salty snacks. Serve well chilled at 6–8°C to highlight its freshness and fine mousse. Decanting is not recommended; instead, open just before serving to preserve its lively effervescence.
