On the palate, it is focused and linear, with crisp acidity, saline tension, and a dry, chiselled finish that reflects its Brut Nature style. The wine’s single-vineyard origin gives it both concentration and finesse, and while it can be enjoyed young for its freshness and energy, it also has strong aging potential, likely gaining breadth and complexity over time.

Production
Vénus comes from Fosse aux Pourceaux, a single vineyard in Avize, one of Champagne’s most celebrated Grand Cru villages for Chardonnay. The wine is crafted using natural methods with a strong emphasis on terroir expression, and as a Brut Nature Champagne it is bottled without dosage to preserve the purity of the fruit and chalky mineral character. Vintage-dated every year, it reflects both the individual growing season and the distinct identity of this specific parcel.

This Champagne pairs beautifully with oysters, sashimi, scallops, caviar, and other delicate seafood dishes, as well as lightly prepared poultry or aged hard cheeses. Serve chilled at around 8–10°C, and while decanting is not necessary, giving it a few minutes in the glass can help the aromatics open up.
