Tasting Notes
Deep ruby in the glass, this Pinot Noir immediately signals concentration and intensity. The nose is expressive and layered, with blackberry, raspberry tart, honeysuckle, rose petals, violets, and a hint of Cherry Coke adding a nostalgic, aromatic twist. On the palate, the wine is lush and juicy, showing baked cherries, fresh strawberries, cranberry, and a subtle touch of vanilla from the oak. It has a rounded, ripe profile with enough freshness to keep it lively, and while it is already very appealing now, it should continue to drink well over the next few years.

Located in Santa Lucia Highlands near Monterey and the Pacific Coast, the vineyard benefits from cooling marine fog in the morning and evening, balanced by warm, sunny afternoons that allow Pinot Noir to ripen fully while retaining acidity. The result is fruit with notable aromatic intensity, depth, and freshness, vinified to emphasize both plush texture and varietal character.

This wine pairs beautifully with duck breast, roast salmon, herb-crusted pork, mushroom risotto, or chargrilled chicken. Serve slightly chilled, ideally around 14–16°C, and consider decanting for 20–30 minutes if you want the aromas and texture to open up further.
