Made from carefully hand-harvested fruit from the estate’s best parcels, Vigna del Castello and Vigna del Velo, it carries the character of a Brunello shaped by tradition, precision, and a strong sense of place. The name 1441 honors the year the Tricerchi castle was founded, adding a distinct historical identity to the wine.

Tasting Notes
In the glass, this Brunello typically shows a deep ruby core with the elegance and transparency that are hallmarks of Sangiovese. The nose is likely to offer layers of red cherry, wild berries, dried rose, and subtle earthy notes, lifted by spice, tobacco, and a touch of oak from long aging in Slavonian oak casks. On the palate, it should be structured and refined, with bright acidity, firm tannins, and a long, savory finish. The combination of fruit purity and oak maturation suggests a wine with excellent aging potential, likely benefiting from further cellaring over the next decade or more as its flavors gain complexity and softness.

Production
The grapes come from two of the estate’s most prized vineyard sites, Vigna del Castello and Vigna del Velo, within the Montalcino area in Tuscany. The wine is made exclusively from hand-picked Sangiovese and aged for three years in Slavonian oak barrels, a traditional approach that helps preserve the grape’s natural character while adding structure and depth.

This Brunello is an excellent match for rich Tuscan dishes, grilled red meats, roasted lamb, game, and aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18°C, and consider decanting for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the aromas and tannins to open fully.
