Tasting Notes
Deeply coloured and polished, Lupicaia 2019 is expected to show a dark ruby core with impressive concentration. The bouquet typically leans toward ripe blackcurrant, plum, cedar, tobacco, graphite, and warm herbs, with floral and spice nuances from the Petit Verdot adding lift and complexity. On the palate, it should be full-bodied and structured, with layered dark fruit, fine-grained tannins, and fresh Tuscan acidity keeping everything in balance. The finish is likely long and savoury, with notes of oak spice, balsamic herbs, and mineral depth. This is a wine with excellent aging potential and will continue to evolve beautifully over many years.
